Pippettes Dispensary uses the best quality organic apples grown in North Devon. Our vinegar is unfiltered and unpasteurised, retaining the important vinegar fermenting bacteria and enzymes that form the harmless cloudy substance known as the Mother. It is matured over time to produce a beautifully delicate apple flavour with a pleasant, clean finish. Ideally taken diluted in water as a daily health tonic, or in cooking, dressings and marinades.
Suggested dilution for drinking: 2 tsp vinegar + 300ml water. For more health giving uses see base label. Shake before use.
ACV healthy detox - tummy tonic:
Dilute 1-2 tsp ACV in a glass of warm water (250ml+) and drink before breakfast. Start slowly and increase to rec dose. Cease if irritation occurs.
ACV healthy heart dressing:
Mix 2/3 cup extra virgin organic olive oil with 1/3 cup ACV. Add 2 tsp mustard, 1 crushed garlic clove and 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt.
ACV hair conditioner:
Rinsing the scalp and hair with ACV after using shampoo helps with pH balance, de-tangles (especially when in hard water), adds softness and has been used traditionally to relieve dandruff and dermatitis. Dilute 1 tsp in 250-350ml (vary volume with hair thickness and length). Slowly pour the solution across scalp and allow it to run down length of hair. Wait a couple of minutes before rinsing with just water. Cool water is said to add more shine.
